Joe Reynolds As a Foot Ball Promoter.

Joe Reynolds, the sporting “Willie Green” of the Delphi Journal, has gone to the extreme rear and assumed a sitting posture in the matter of boosting up the Delphi foot ball team, and has addressed a communication to a Rensselaer citizen, negotiating for a game between Rensselaer and Logansport at Delphi. Manager Wright has the matter under consideration, and the letter which Joe typewrote with such a poor attempt at sarcasm will be answered, and Logansport will be given a chance to prove its claim of championship, but it is probable the demand will be made to play it either here or at Logansport, as alleged neutral grounds do not usually prove out the promised neutrality.
