Dr, Burroughs Dead.
Dr. George Stockton Burroughs, president of Wabash college from 1892 to 1899, died Tuesday night at Clifton Springs, N. Y. Some time ago Dr. Burroughs had an arm broken by a porter on a railroad train who was endeavoring to assist him on the train. He had a cancerous affection of the bone and lost the arm, suffering considerable before his death. Some time ago' the remaining arm was amputated. Burroughs at the time of his death was professor of testament literature in Oberlin college.
