Wallick Peppered Both Hands.
It is thought in Kentland that Sid Henderson and the other cattle stealers will be tried in Chicago. It is hard to see how he can escape a pretty long penitentiary sentence and of course he deserves it, but yet the fellow and his family are objects of pity. He is crippled in only having one arm, has a family of young children, and always seemed a hard working man, and he stated himself, after his arrest that he was about to lose his home at Thayer, by foreclosure of mortgage. Thus many circumstances serve in some degree, to extenuate his fault and to justify the hope that his punishment will be unduly severe.
