The Postmaster’s Convention.
The first annual convention of postmasters of the 10th district was held at Lafayette Tuesday, was quite largely attended and was an interesting and no doubt profitable affair. % H. A. Strohm, of Kentland, was elected permanent chairman; W. E. Peck, of Remington, permanent secretary, and J. L. Caldwell, of Lafayette, permanent treasurer. F. B. Meyer, of Rensselaer, was a member of the committee on resolutions. Hammond was selected for the next meeting. The following postmasters registered from Jasper county: T. H. Hurley, Blackford. Everett Brown, Pleasant Grove. Thus. M. Callahan, Newland. Joseph Tyler, DeMotte. W. E. Peck, Remington, F. B. Meyer, Rensselaer. Mrs. Ola Hubbard, Kersey. Logan Wood, Parr. , B. Boebner, Collegeville. T. M. Daley, Sharon.
