More Land Sales In North End.

Geo. F. Meyers, of Kniman, is still making his full share of land sales in the north end of the county. Since last report, a week or two ago, he has negotiated three more. The most notable of these was the sale of 320 acres in Wheatfield Tp., belonging to Horace Marble. This was sold to Don M. Cady, of Ogle Co., 111. The price was S4O per acre or $12,800 for the tract. This half section includes 150 acres of the celebrated Marble onion field; and the largest onion raiser on the tract this year has cleaned up $5,000. Mr. Marble bought the land about 10 years ago, paying about $lO per acre. Another of the three sales was also to an Illinois man, FredKarch, of Frankfort, Will county. He bought 120 acres, in Wheatfield' of Ed Ficher for $37.50 per acre. A man living near Rensselaer, W. R. Dennis, of east of town, has bought of Charles Myers, the Wheatfield merchant, 60 acres near the town of Wheatfield. Mr. Dennis will occupy the place himself.
