More Potatoes Than Expected.

It is said that the potato shortage has been greatly overestimated. Through Indiana the late rains helped late varieties of potatoes wonderfully and when they are harvested the yield will be considered larger everywhere than expected. This is the case with nearby growers and reports from other sections of Indiana indicate that it is also true there. But the biggest bear influence of the potato market is the enormous crop in Minnesota, Montana, Utah and Colorado, where irrigation this year produced many thousands of cars ot surplus stock. This is now seeking a maiket and cutting down prices. Shipments will continue even more liberally until about the first of November.
