The G. A. R. on Anarchy.
In general order No. 4, issued Tuesday by the commander of the Indiana Grand Army tribute was paid to President McKinley. The order is almost wholly devoted to the assassination of the president. It says in part: “The Grand Army of the Republic stands like a stone wall for the speedy enactment and vigorous enforcement of statutes that shall prevent the abuse of free speech and free press, which spread treason, anarchy and dissention and oause such atrooious crimes to be committed in oar land.”
