Another Fair Oaks Case.
Gen. Christian Vick raided Fair Oaks kopje again Monday afternoon, and captured Burgher S. M. Lamoine, a man of law but charged with a lawless act. Namely throwing out of a building and then striking with a buggy whip, John or Junk Daywitt, 10 year old son of Barney Daywitt, towit. The case was tried Monday afternoon, before Squire Troxell and a jury. The jury brought in a verdict of guilty and a fine r of $lO and costs. The costs are $39.65. Mr. Lamoine Btayed the payment. He swore out a warrant against the boy for profanity. That case is still pending.
