Rev. Ward Will Go to Martinsville.

Rev. A. L. Ward, who for over two years has ably filled the pulpit of the Christian churoh here, tendered his resignation Sunday. The resignation will be accepted by the church board, and about Nov. Ist Mr. Ward will remove to Martinsville, this state, where tie congregation of his denomination has extended to him a call to beoome their pastor. Rev. Ward is a minister of great natural ability and fine educational attainments, and is sure to continue to rise in his profession. The church here has as yet, no one in view as bis successor.
