Factory People Say Yes.

The proprietors of the Chicago factory which wants to move here, have changed their minds on the last offer made by the committee here. A. Leopold, a member of the original committee, took occasion to drop into the factory some days ago, while in Chicago, and did uot find nearly as many men at work as he expected. He has just received a letter from their agent, explaining that many of their men had gone out on a strike, and that one of the principal reasons why they wish to leave Chicago is to get where they can depend on their help staying with them, the men they have there being described as “a roaming set and at the least provocation they go out.” In the letter the agent states the firm have decided to accept the latest offer made by the committee, which they previously declined to do.
