Miss Goldie Wheeldon visited with Miss Nora Baker last week. Miss Blanche Blake and Art Akers of Newland were married at the home of the bride’s parents Sunday. We wish them a happy journey down the stream of life. Mrs. Stookwell of Tennessee is is visiting her daughter Mrs. J. N. Baker for a few weeks. Harry Gifford & Earl Newland were at Rensselaer Saturday on businessFreeman Gifford and wife of Laura visited friends at Newland Sunday. Quite a number from here joined the Odd Fellows Lodge at Gifford Friday night. Joe Cooper of Tyner is working for Thurman Smith. We wonder why Glenn Baker goes to Newland so much for? Nicholes Krull and Wm. Walters of Rensselaer were Newland visitors Friday. ; Miss Ella Callahan is staying with friends near Rensselaer this week. Ora Morgan transacted business at Rensselaer Saturday. Alf Donnelly called on T. M. Callahan one day last week. He was looking for a few onions?
