LEE AND EAST JASPER.

Mr. Wood entertained friends at his home last Sunday. The Lee Sunday School was reorganized last Sunday and the following officers were elected. Supt. Joe Clark, Assistant Thos. Jacks, Sec, Mabel McCoy, Treasurer Wm. Rishling, organist Arty Gilmore. Mrs. E. W. Maxwell is quite sick at this writing, her daughter Mrs, Geo. Christy came up from Chalmers Monday to be at her bedside. Dam Rumor has it that a young lady from White Co. has decided to cast her lot with a young man from Jasper and has acted accordingly. Best wishes if this be so. Miss Iva Carrothers left Saturday for Monticello where she will attend high school this winter.
