MT. AYR AND WEST JASPER. Dr. J. T. Martin’s brother is a guest of the Dr’s, this week. Everybody should see the pacing and trotting races at Rensselaer next Saturday. The horses’are ffom'this vicinity. Ross Hawkins of Rensselaer was in town Wednesday on business. ... Miss Vesey Grow, Mr. Julian Hopkins, Miss Elsie Wasson and Mr. Clyde Comer spent Sunday Sept. 22nd, with Miss Ethel Hopkins at this place. The Mt. Ayr Band went to Remington, Thursday Sept. 26, to the Odd Fellows Picnic The Wheatfield horse buyer took a number of horses away with him this week. William Campbell of south of town had his heel cut off by a horse corn cutter, but is doing well at this writing.
