Sam Strong, the Clippie Creek millionaire, was recently killed by Grant Crumley, a gambler. He made a million out of the Strong mine, and accusations that he had the shafthouse blown up during the big strike seven years ago caused much litigation in Colorado. Strong's marriage brought ont the Nellie Lewis suit for breach of promise in which tha plaintiff was awarded $50,000.
