The Circuit Court.

The Grand Jury adjourned on Thursday evening, having returned fix indictments. Two of these ware against two parties now in j'ail. Albert Wilson, for assault and battery, with intent to commit rape. The other against Fred Glackin, the circus day prowler, for grand larceny. The other indictments are for minor offenses. Lewis Rasmussen was tried for assault and battery. He and Daniel A. Gross got into a savage fight at Dunnvilie, at a dance. Before it was ov%r Rasmussen ohewed off so large a piece of Gross’ physical frame, that the latter now wdlks lop-sided. Namely a very large portion of the upper part of his right ear. The jury fined Ras $6 and oosts, or something over $55 in all. Carl Hatnacher, who was arrested some months ago, oharged with stealing eleven guinea hens from Guo. W. Cover, of near Virgie, and valued at 12$ cents each. He was tried by jury and found not guilty. If young Hamaoher had oaught the incessant olookers and wrung their necks, the jury would, no doubt, brought in a verdiot of “justifiable guineaoide.” — ... ■ - Over 400 bushels fancy Michigan peaches iust arrived.
