Obituary.
MAT A. WAYMIRE. Mrs. May A. Way mire, wife of Daniel Waymire, and daughter of Steward and Rebecoa Hammond, was born October 26th, 1871, died August 24th, 1901. She was a devoted wife, a good neighbor, and possessed a beautiful character; the many sympathizing friends who gathered at the grave to pay the last tribute of respect, but convey dimly the esteem in which she was held. She was converted and united with the Free Baptist ohuroh in Rensselaer at the age of 14. Three years ago she put her membership in the Protestant Methodist church at Egypt, in Jordan township. The funeral was conducted at the residence by Rev. Carnes, former pastor of the Egypt church and Rev. Ed. Meads of the Free Will Baptist ohuroh of Rensselaer Indiana. Interment in Egypt Cemetry. She leaves to mourn her departure a husband, little son DeLos, 7 years old, a father and three sisters, Mias Bertha' Hammond, Mrs. Marion I. Adams, and Mrs. 0. Harrold and two brothers Charles Hammond of Rensselaer, Ind. and Joseph P. Hammond of Wheat field Ind. Then in the living God We’ll trust, Who doeth all things well. The body shall retnrn to dust, The soul in heaven shall dwell. % W. E. M.
