The County Council.

The County Council completed their annual appropriation ordinance Thursday foYenoon, and adjourned. The total appropriation for 1902, in round numbers is $57,000. This is about $15,000 more than than the regular and special appropriations for this year. 9ome SIO,OOO of this increase is to pay maturing court house bonds, and the' balance for mew bridges, more gravel roads to repair etc. The county tax levy is of course, correspondingly increased. The various county levies are: For county revenue, 42 cents, for interest on court house bonds 5 cents, gravel road repairs, oents. Total county tax 50J cents, on the SIOO valuation. The total last year was 43| oents.
