Everybody seemed to enjoy the Farmers Picnic. We will have a picnic every year if they are as great a success as the last. Our speaker was excellent, music the same but the ball game —well it was all right, for Wheatfield. Wheatfield carried off the prize 8 to 4. Mrs. B. Biggs and daughter Alma, returned to their home in Mississippi Tuesday. Quite a number of our citizens attended the Wallace Circus at Rensselaer Tuesday. Miss Minnie Tinkham entertained a number of her friends, Monday evening. Among the guests were, Mesdames Scott, Phillips, Helmick, Biggs and Miss Alma Biggs. Messrs Scott, Phillips, Laughlin, The main feature of the evening was music. The Marshall family of Chalmers, are guests of Mr. and Mrs. E. T. Biggs. Uncle Billie Nicoles of Indianapolis is visiting his son, A. Nicoles. Mrs. Cora Brower and daughter Georgia have returned to their home in Monon, after quite an extended visit with their friends. Mr. E. Jensen’s new house on Main street is almost ready to receive the family. His a nice, large house and adds greatly to the appearance of the town,
