MT. AYR AND WEST JASPER.
Owen Williams was kicked by a horse just above-the eye last Sunday, but is recovering and is not considered dangerous. Miss Blanche Merry has returned from a short visit. Mr. Jno. Romine and daughter returned yesterday from a visit. Jas. Yeoman shipped a carload of stock from here Monday. Mr. Chas. Hemphill passed through here enroute to Morocco Monday,, Messrs W. C. Milliton and Ross Hawkins of Rensselaer were in town a short time Tuesday. The Mt. Ayr band has closed its season of open air concerts. Chas and Allen Carter and families returned from the Kankakee river Tuesdav showing us specimens of large fish by the heads they had saved. W.V. Vanatta and wife, who have been visiting Dr. J. D. Martin, returned Saturday to their home in Chicago.
