A Bridge That Has Killed 22 Brakemen.

A big traction engine went through the notorious over head bridge, over the Monon tracks, at Putnamville, a few days ago. The bridge was badly wrecked and traffic on the road was delayed several hours. The traction engine was a complete wreck, owner will try to collect its value from the railroad company, but officials of the latter say the company is not responsible, because of the unreasonably great weight of the traction engine. The bridge was built some ten or twelve years ago ( and is said to have killed not less than 22 freight brakemen, and according to some Statements, not less than 25.
