DEMOTTE.
DeMotte and country received a good rain-fall last Saturday. The foundation of J. A. Sigler and Co’s, new brick building is almost completed. There is much delay in getting material for same. A 1 Coats, of Hebron, was in town on business last Friday. A gentleman from Kouts was here last Sunday and rented the J. Hanna blacksmith shop. He will be ready for business in a few days. John A. Sigler has been very sick For a few days. He is reported easier now. The Faxmers and laborers held a reunion in DeMotte last Monday and the tuwn pump was highly appreciated and many were made happy. Charley Otis was in town Tuesday. Wejike to have him come. Abe Myers has moved in his new home on Main street.
