Gns Bushong, whose alleged actions at the home of his wife and mother-in-law, in Barkley township, created quite a sensation some months ago, is now staying regularly in Rensselaer, when be is not at work in the vicinity. Gus may say and perhaps do some pretty wild things when under excitement, but a great many who know him well think he lacks a whole lot. of being an all around bad man. He is a good worker and by all acoounte, while on the farm, was a good manager. He is quiet and well behaved and a very pleßant young man to meet and talk with. He also, as we know from Dr. Ira Washburn’s statements, was a good and faithful soldier in the Spanish War.
