Death of Logan Nichols.

Logan or Loge Nichols v as he was usually oalled, though his full name was General Logan Nichols, died Thursday, Aug. 15th, at the home of George Lowman, in Barkley" Tp., about 4 miles northeast of town. The cause of his death was consumption and he had been sick for a year or more. He was 32 years of age, unmarried, and his parents were both dead. Mr. and Mrs. Lowman have given him a home and all possible care, during the past two months. His father was W. H. or “Yankee” Nichols. The funeral was held at Mr. Lowman’s residence Friday forenoon, and interment made in the Brown cemetery, at Pleasant Grove, in Barkley Tp.
