A Lecture Likely from Sam Jones

There is a good prospect that the oelebrated Rev. Sam Jones, the one and only Sam, will deliver one of his charaoteristio addresses in Rensselaer, at an early date. Rev. Ed Meads, of the Free Will ohnrch is corresponding with his business manager and feels confident of getting him about Sept. Ist. Mr. Meads has already secured Jones for leotures in three of his former locations, and his confidence iu this oase is therefore tally justified by former experience. It is Mr. Meads’ plan to open a great revival campaign with Sam Jones for a starter. Jones to speak m the opera house and the meetings to follow in the ohuroh. His assistants in this work will be Rev. L. H. Bagwell, ohaplain of the Southern Illinois penitentiary, at Chester, 111,, and Rev. J. L. Meads, Free Will state evangelist, of Illinois. Of oonrse a oharge will be made for Sam Jonee’ lecture as it oosts $l5O iu oold cash to get him here.
