A Story From Missouri.

The Kansas City Journal tells this story: “Frank Anderson was for years a well known commercial traveler who made Galena. He was passionately fond of honey and the proprietor of the Galena Hotel, always bad some on hand for him. On one trip Anderson took his wife along and as fie approached Galena, he mentioned to her that he was getting to a place where he could have honey. When the pair were sitting at the supper table that night no honey appeared, and Anderson said sharply to the headwaiter; “Where is my honey?” The waiter smiled and said: “You mean the little black haired one? Oh, she don’t work here any more.”
