Death of Mrs. Sylvia Watts.

Mrs. Sylvia Watts, a bride of less than three months, died about midnight, Saturday night, August 9th at the home of her father, Larkin Potts, in the west part of town. She was born in Rensselaer and lived here all her life, practically. She married Ora Watts, an employe of the Monarch grocery store, Indianapolis, May 18th, 1901, ahd with him began housekeeping in that city. Her health had been failing for some time and continued to decline rapidly, and a few weeks ago she returned to her father’s home, to die among her relatives. The cause of her death was consumption, and she died at the early age of 19 years, I month and 17 days. Her husband has spent a part of each week with her since her return here and was with her when she died. She leaves a husband, father, step-mother and numerous other relatives and friends to mourn her loss. The funeral was held on Monday, forenoon, by Rev. A. L. Ward, at the Christian church, and interment was made in Weston cemetery.
