Notice of Presenting Petition For Highway. Notice is hereby given that a petition will be S resented to the Board of Commissioners of xe county of Jasper, and state of Indiana at the September term 1901 of said Board asking for the location of a new public highway in Gillam and Barklev townships in said county and state on the following route, to-wit: Commencing at the northwest corner of section 25, township 80 north, range 6 west, thence east on the north line of section 25 to intersect the north bank of a certain dredge ditch, thence easterly on said north bank of said dredge ditch across sections 80, 29, 20 and 21, and the southwest quarter of section 22, all in same town and range to the southeast corner of the northwest quarter of the southwest quarter of said section 22, thence south to the south line of said section, thence east to the northwest corner of the northeast quarter of the northeast quarter of section 27, the latter description being in township 30 north, range 5 WOHt. 4 Said proposed highway will pass along, upon and over the lands of the following named persons: Benjamin J. Gifford, John N. Baker. Hu Ida J. Baker, Sarah E. Hendrickson, Emily M. Long, Mary R. Richmond, Jesse A. Baker, Lydia P. Baker, and William F. Baker, heirs of John Baker, deceased, John N. Baker, Gran ville Moody, Evaline Hess, Josephine Kupke, Fred Kupke, Julia K. Huntington, daughter and only heir of Daniel D. Pratt, deceased, Martha E. McDaniel, Moses Tuteur and William H. Robinson, Barkley Township and Gil lam township. Said petition prays for a highway 50 feet wide and towit 5 miles long.
