MT. AYR AND WEST JASPER. Prof. Baughman left Tuesday for Lafayette where he has a short engagement with a band. Chas. Hemphill of Rensselaer was in town Tuesday. T. E. WiHey was in Rensselaer 'Tuesday. "Chester Roberts of north of Kentland fell from a wagon loaded with oats Monday and was kicked by a horse, after which the wheel passed over his head killing him almost instantly, he was about 13 years old, son of Jas. Roberts and a nephew of Mrs. Nichols of this place. A. J. Freeland of West Jasper was over and got his coal for threshing Tuesday. Quite a number of our people attend the band concerts at Rensselaer.
