Engineers Have Some Kicks Coming.

The Monon engineers have a grievance against the company. It is said that they are not satisfied as to the recent order that the men on the freight runs must learn both ends of the road and be prepared to run north and south out of Lafayette. The engineers do not warm up to this new rule. They argue that it is hard enough to know one division thoroughly. There are slso said to be complaints as to men receiving passenger runs who are not entitled to them. Enginemen who man the big “battleships” also think they should be pdd more than those who run the smaller engines. The questions are considered in no way serious and it is thought the trouble will be settled in a manner satisfactory to all when President McDoel returns from his vacation,
