The County Commissioners.
The Commissioners completed the work of their regular August session Wednesday afternoon and adjourned. Three saloon licenses were granted: To George Ketchmark, o f Dunnville, Wm- W. Ballinger, of Kniman, and George Strickfaden, of Rensselaer. Warren Robinson made official report of the recent railroad election, in aid of the Chicago & Toledo Transfer R. R. Co. (Tippecanoe Route.) The Board ordered tho cause continued to June 1902, when further orders will be made, as the facts may then appear. A The commissioners declined to refund a portion of the saloon license fee of the late Robert Goodrick, as petitioned for by the administrator, Wm. B. Austin. Two highways petitioned for by, B. J. Gifford and one by John Kimble, were established. Also the John Hudson ditch. The contract for printing the county manual and other supplies for superintendent and recorder, was awarded to the Rensselaer Journal, at $63.80.
