NOTICE is hereby given, that at a” regular meeting of the Common Council of the City of Rensselaer, Indiana, to be held at the Council Chamber at 8 o’clock p. m. on the 26th Day of August 1901, sealed bids will he received for the improvement of tliut part of Forest Street whicli lien between the north line of Oak Street and six feet north of the center line of Merritt Street and that part of Merritt Street which lies between a point six feet-cast of tbo center line of Forest Street and the west lino of the street or roud known as the “Urnvel Road” by grading the same and the const ruction thereon of a macadam roadway, twelve feet In width. Ail of said work shall be done in accordance with a resolution adopted by the Common Council on the 22nd day of July, 1901, and the specifications thorefor on fllo in my office. Bidders shall file with their bids, the receipt of the City Treasurer for the sum of SSOO, posited as a guarantee that such bidder, if successful, will enter into a contract in accordance with his bid.
