James Torbet thrashed his rye and oats Tuesday. ■ The dande at Moore’s Saturday night was rather slimly attended. The funeral of Grandma Abbett was largely attended Sunday evening. Miss May Hayes has quit working for Mrs. Korah Daniels. John Hayes is home from Marion where he has been attending school. Mr 3. James Torbet has been very sick. Born to Mr. and Mrs. Tom Zimmerman, Tuesday a big boy. Miss .Junie McCleary gave a party Saturday, the evening was spent in various games. Those present were Mr. Charley Hopkins and wife, Misses Mabel and Lenie Hardesty, Maggie Torbet and Temie Nuss, Messers Lenard Hayes, Bluford and Roy Torbet, Dan Hopkins, Will Nuss, Walter Daniels and Clarence Green.
