Some Fountain Park Entertainers.

Among the long list of entertainers at the Fountain Park Assembly at Remington this year will be Alton Packard, for many years a newspaper illustrator, but now a lecturer and artist. He transforms the lecture platform into a veritable studio and entertains and instructs by making pictures with wondrous skill and rapidity before the eyes of his audience. Mr. Packard’s work is, of course, coupled with that of numerous other entertainers, who will be individually mentioned by The Republican in succeeding issues. The prospectus of this year’s assembly will be ready for distribution within a few days and the entertainment list is so long and full of talent, that the park program will present more charm this year than ever before. The date is Aug. 17 to Sept. 1, inclusive.
