Death ot Hrs. Lizzie Hitchcock.
Mrs. Lizzie Warner Hitchcook died at 9:45 p. m. Monday, July 15th, 1901, at the home of her grandfather, F. W. Bedford, just east of town. The cause of her death was consumption and she bad been slowly failing in health for three years or more. Just ‘a week before the day of her death, she returned from St. John’s Ky., where she had been spending a few weeks with her sister, in the hopes of improving he| health, bnt without success. Since her return she has declin, ed very rapidly. Just previous to her death she asked to be raised to a sitting position, and almost immediately expired. Her age was 85 yelaVs and 3 months. The funeral of Mrs. Lizzie Hitchcook will be held Friday, July 19th, at four o’olook p m., on the lawn at Mr. Bedford’s residence, just east of town. Rev. B. F. Ferguson will oonduct the religious services. Interment will be in Weston cemetery.
