An Unimportant Runaway.
Frank Meyers, of Ellis & Murray’s and a party of guests, were riding around town Monday night, in a two seated buggy and just as they turned from Washington into Weston street, a tug came unhooked, and the tongue came down. The doubletrees flew back, and started a rattle in the wheels, and the horses made a bolt. Before they had gone muoh more than 100 feet, the tongue oaught in the ground, and the team broke loose. The ocoupants of the buggy were somewhat shaken up and soared but no one was hurt. The only damage to the buggy was a broken tongue. The team trotted in the livery barn on sohedule time, or a little ahead, and were not damaged either. For Sale: A number of thoroughbred male Poland China hogs, and about 50 head of shoats and a number of brood sows. E. Peacock, Extreme southwest part of town. 1-Sep-pd
