Rensselaer Semi-Weekly Republican, Volume 22, Number 86, Rensselaer, Jasper County, 16 July 1901 — Circus Coming. [ARTICLE]
Circus Coming.
The advance bill posters’ wagon for the Gollmar Bros. & Sohumans’ cirous, is here today, billing the town in good shape. There are ten men in the oompany, and their gentlemanly appearance and deportment speaks well for the show they represent. They are staying at the Makeever House, where accommodations for 40 performers have been secured for Monday the 29th circus day and the Sunday preceding. It is staled that the number of circus employes who are boarded at the tents is 125. From which it is evident that the show is quite a big affair.
