165 Miles in a Locomobile.
The locomobile is practical for long distance travel. John F. Judy bought four in Chicago the other day and detailed F. S. Cooper to “drive” them to Lafayette overland It is well known that there are many bad and sandy roads between Lafayette and Chicago. The distance traveled was 165 miles. It was covered in fourteen hours through sand, rain, mud and fresh gravel. The machines surmounted every difficulty and xesponded to every demand called for.—Lafayette Home Journal.
