William B. Hixson’s Death.
Indianapolis Journal—William B. Hixson, who moved with his family to Kniman, Jasper county, last March, died at his home in the latter place on Sunday. The body was brought to this city for interment. State Statistician Johnson was well acquainted with Mr. Hixson, the two having been neighbors in Benton county a number of years. “Mr. Hixson was a prominent democrat,” said Mr. Johnson yesterday, “and from 1877 to 1881 held the office of treasurer of Benton county. He was a gallant soldier in the civil war.” “Coleridge” and “69” Cigars for sale by all dealers.
