Surveying the State Land.

George D. Parks* of Lafayette, has been appointed by Governor Durbin to make a survey of the state lands in Starke, Laporte, Porter and Jasper counties. ' The purpose of the survey is to determine the exact location of the lands and the fall in the Kankakee river. It will require about two months time to do the work.
