Over Five to One at Winamac.

The election to vote a two per cent, subsidy for the Chicago & Toledo Transfer R. R. company was held at Winamac, j-June 9th, the day after the similar , election here. The result was not quite so unanimously in favor of the appropriation as it was here, but the majority was big enough for all practical purposes. The vote for the appropriation was 390 and against it 72. That is ' a little more than 5 to 1. The statement that an election was pending in Francesville was premature, as none has been petitioned for from that place, nor from any other Pulaski county township, outside of Winamac.
