Wants to Get After the Wolves.
Charley Bussell, of Hanging Grove, who was in town visiting his father, Uncle Billy, over night, says that his fox-hunting relatives in Cass county have just presented him with a big and wise old hound, which has been the leader of a string of 20 hounds for the past five years, but has Igrown a little too old and slow for the work. Charley now wants to get after some of the numerous wolves that are ravaging his region of country, and would like some owners of hounds to join in with him, and help him and his big dog clean out the wolves. Charley says there are lots of them out there, and that they do great damage, especially right along now, in breaking up the nests or destroying the young broods of retiring lady turkeys, which (at this season of the year are 'prone to seek the seclusion of the underbrush to make their nests and lay their eggs.
