Church Contest at Kniman.
A Catholic Church popularity contest is making things lively around Kniman. The successful candidate will receive a fine cane and the privilege of naming the new Catholic chqroh, at Kniman. The candidates are three well known and popular citizens, Wm. Grube Sr,, Michael Jungles and John E. Meyers. A box supper and grand dance will be held at Warner’s grove, near Kniman, on Saturday evening, July 20th, and the contest will end at 9 that evening. Votes are 1 cent each and the different candidates are presumably doing some tall hustling,
