Plenty or rain for the present. J Some corn badly damaged by the rain ond wind; zzz±zzz± Mrs, Burr and Mrs. Johnson vTsited in Mt. Ayr last week. Mrs. R. W. Johnson of Logansport is visiting her parents. Many of the young people of this neighborhood spent the Fourth in Kentland. Misses Martha and Tillie Beckler are the guests of Miss Marie Simouin this week. H. M. Burr has his wind pump in running order again after its wreck from the storm, Henry Henkle has'gone to Rose Lawn and for some unknown reason made a trip to Kentland enroute. Rev. Laßounty preached last Sunday evening and remained through the week to help in the building of the church, which is rapidly nearing completion.
