A Wedding at Hammond.
Mr. W. G. Slagle, of Rensselaer, and Miss Edna Pearl Jordan, of Hammond, were married at 6 o’clock p. m, Sunday, July 7th, 1901, at the residence of the bride’s father, W. A. Jordan, at Hammond. Rev. W. A. Wood, of the Hammond M. E. church, performed the ceremony. Mr. Slagle is the Rensselaer member of the hotel firm of Jordan & Slagle, and as such is the popular manager of the Makeever House. His bride is the daughter of the other member of the firm. The newly married couple oame at once to Rensselaer, and are now fully installed at the Makeever House.
