Mortimer Nye is Stricken.

Laporte, Ind., July 5. —Mortimer Nye, exlieutenant governor of Indiana and one of the best kncwn public men in this city, was stricken with paralysis yesterday afternoon at Union Mills just as he closed a Fourth of July address, His condition is considered serious and he will probably die.
