What the Tombstone Says.

We have already given most of the known facts regarding George Moore, the revolutionary war veteran. We are now, through the kindness of Rev. L. B. Appleton able to give exactly fcuch facts about him as are on his tombstone, in Smith cemetery. The words on the stone, as copied by Mr. Appleton, Monday, read as follows: GEORGE MOORE Died July 18, 1848, Aged 98 y, 9 m, 8 d. A Veteran of 1776. Peace Be to His Ashes.
