The Baccalaureate Services.

The baccalaureate services for the graduating class of the Rensselaer high school, were held Sunday, at 3 p. m., at the M. E. church, as per program previously published. Rev. A. G Work, pastor of the Rensselaer Presbyterian church, delivered the baccalaureate sermon, on the subject “Covet That Which is Best.” It was a scholarly and most instructive effort, and full of most Salutary advice for the graduates and all others with lheir lives still before them. The entire class of 25 were present except Miss Flossie Wright, who was absent on the account of her father’s sad and sudden death. In recognition of her absence and its cause, her vacant chair was draped and each of her young lady classmates wore crape on her arm. Appropriate resolutions of sympathy were also Adopted by the class, the faculty and the school board.
