Broke Down on Main Track.
Ah axle on engine No. 60, pulling the south bound local freight Tuesday, gave way on the main track at the Forest street crossing and it was several hours before the disabled engine could be moved to the siding. The train at a low rate of speed but after the disability bumped along for several rods before it could be brought to a standstill. North-bound passenger No. 6, was delayed here for about an hour, while its engine cleared up the side track.
