Escape The Hired Girl’s Tyranny
It is asserted that a co-operative club at Warsaw has solved the hired girl problem. The club is composed of over fifty men and women who have leased a fine home in the central part of the city and have furnished several dining rooms and a kitchen. The club employs a chief' and three assistants and the chief does the buying and the cooking. The mode of board is found to be great help to small families, doingjaway with the queen of many a domicile—the hired girl. The (Episcopal) Missionfof the Epiphany. The Rev. D. Converse will hold services in Jasper Co., as follows: May 26th, being Whitsen day a celebration of the Holy Communicants at the house of Mr. Alfred Peters at 7a. m. Sunday school at the same place at 10 a. m. Evening prayer and sermon at the Slaughter school house at 2:30 p. m. On May 27th (Monday evening), prayer and sermon at 7:30 in the Primitive Baptist church in Rensselaer.
