The Monon's New Trains.

The Monon railway is- making preparations to' put on two new trains between Chicago and Lodisville. Four of the coaches intended for these trains were built by the Ohio Fall Car company at Jefersonville, and reached the city yesterday afternoon. The other cars that are to be used with the new coaches in making up the trains are being rebuilt at the Monon shops in this city. It is possible that the road will be unable to put the new trains in commission until next week, as some delay has been caused by the inability of the company to obtain some of the appliances that are to be used in completing the dining car that is to be used in connection with the new train. It is expected that an exhibition train of the new coaches will bei made up the latter part of the week and will be sent out on a trial trip.-Lafayette Call.
